Evie's Story
Evie is a vibrant, friendly, and easy-going kitten who just recently turned one. She has moderate cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), which means that she isn't able to stand or walk, and instead gets around by scooting around the rug. Despite her physical limitations, Evie is full of personality and is determined to live her best life. She is very content to relax and observe the goings-on around her from her cat tunnel. She loves to play with wand toys from her tunnel or on a rug and has learned to let you know when she needs help with something. Evie does great with routine and is able to eat, drink, and use the litter box on her own once she is placed near them. (For anyone who is interested in adopting, we can share details about her routine and send additional videos of how she accomplishes daily tasks).

Aside from being cute as a button, Evie is extremely friendly with both people and cats. She would do great with someone who is retired and or works from home, who can help her maintain a routine. We first found Evie as a young kitten abandoned outside a Petco in a cardboard box. After 8 months in foster care, she is now thriving and we are hoping to find her the loving home that she deserves!

If you're interested, please send a text to Marina at 646-209-4256.
