Hi, I’m Everest—a curious little explorer with a big heart and an even bigger purr! I love turning everyday moments into adventures, whether I’m chasing feather toys, watching birds flutter by the window, or investigating new things around the house. When I’m not exploring, I’m a total sweetheart who loves quiet cuddle time. Mornings and evenings are my favorite times to snuggle up close, start my purr motor (once it’s on, it never stops!), and soak up all the affection I can get. I like following my human from room to room, joining in on whatever they’re doing—sometimes right by their side, and sometimes from a cozy perch up high where I can keep an eye on everything. I'm bonded with my brother and twin littermate, Cliff. We need to be adopted together. Almost Home Foundation's Adoption Policy

Adoption Process Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age Have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household Have approval from owner of residence (written in lease) Have a valid ID with current address Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Almost Home Foundation Be ready to make a lifetime commitment Live in the suburbs surrounding Schaumburg (Illinois Residents only) Adoption payment cash and check only Process: Fill out an application. Meet with the animal and talk with an Adoption Counselor/foster. Understand that several applicants may be interested in the animal and it can only go into one home. Almost Home Foundation makes the decision with the best interest of the animal in mind. A decision to place the animal in someone else’s home in no way implies that your home would not be a wonderful home for one of our animals. We are merely trying to make the best decision for the particular animal.
