Evangeline's Story

***NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat under 3 for company. Two is better than one, twice the fun and 1/2 the work***
Update Jan 2nd, 2025 - Evangeline and Jed are now at the Pet Valu, 920 Upper Wentworth across from Limeridge Mall. Go pay these cuties a visit.
Please read Evangeline's bio, requirements for adoption and if you think she is a good fit then go to avacats.org and fill out an online application form. An adoption co ordinator will be in touch
Dec 27th, 2025 - Evangeline came in to our rescue Dec 5th - as a so called stray. She was very hungry , full of fleas and her environment was not clean. She has since been flea treated, dewormed twice, received her 1st FVCRP vaccine and microchip. Her 2nd FVCRP vaccine then rabies is the responsibility of her new owner and must be completed prior to her spay at 5 - 6 months by AVA which is included in her $275 adoption fee. Evangeline just loves all the great food she is getting, a clean and warm environment - she loves her bed, all her toys and the company of Jed her new BFF. She just loves to play and cuddle and would love to find a home with Jed if not she MUST go to a home with another young cat or kitten to keep her company. Two is better than one, twice the fun and half the work. AVA has an indoor and no declaw policy.
