Eugene was rescued from a local kill shelter. He was sick and to be euthanized the next day. The shelter was full to the brim and needed to make room for constant incoming cats so sick cats and feral ones are the first to go when they are overcrowded. With some antibiotics and time, fortunately Eugene recovered. He's an absolute love and we are so glad we happened to be there when we were to pull him. Of course, as everything this year it seems, he then got ringworm. However, he is over all of his ailments and ready for a forever home as wonderful as he is. Eugene gets along with kids, dogs and cats. He's a very affectionate and social little guy. Furry Friends Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

We are a new group and we will be rescuing more as we recruit new foster homes - so check back often! We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis - it is our goal to find the right home for the cat or dog as well as ensuring that the cat or dog is the right match for its new family. A win/win situation. We do home visits for our dogs. Our Adoption Fees are $160 for cats and $250 for dogs. All our cats and dogs are fully vetted prior to adoption - this includes all age-appropriate vaccinations, feline leukemia/aids testing, heartworm tests, deworming, spay or neuter, microchips and other medical treatment as required. You can fill out an Adoption Application online on our website. All our cats and dogs live in foster homes so we don't have a physical shelter for you to visit.
