Etta & Butch's Story

Butch and Etta are a lovable brother-and-sister duo ready to bring double the joy (and double the zoomies!) into your home. These two are incredibly playful, active, and outgoing, the kind of cats who turn every room into their personal playground and every toy into the best thing ever invented. They’re a bonded pair, which means they adore each other and would love to be adopted together. Watching them chase, wrestle, and then curl up side-by-side is basically free entertainment (and heart-meltingly cute). That said, they can go to separate homes if needed…though we’d be thrilled to see them stay together. And yes they are ridiculously cute. Like, “stop you in your tracks, can’t take your eyes off them” cute. Butch and Etta are neutered/spayed. They are microchipped and up to date on vaccines as well. Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe's Adoption Policy

Every pet adopted from the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated & microchipped. Our adoption fees are as follows: Dogs (over four months) = $150 Puppies (under four months) = $200 Cats (over four months) = $75 Kittens (under four months) = $100 Adoption fees will be due upon completion of adoption. Cash, check or credit cards are gladly accepted. Our shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 1:00 PM to 6:00 pm. We are located at 10961 Stevens Lane in Truckee just off Donner Pass Rd. east of downtown.
