ETTA's Story

Meet Etta!

Age:4-5 mo. old

Sex: Female

Size/Weight: Around 4 pounds

Colors: Tabby

Length of Hair: Short hair

Personality: She spent her first few months homeless with her mother and 3 siblings. When she arrived at her foster home she was not interested in human contact. She spent time hissing at her humans and hiding. Now Etta will allow you to pick her up and cuddle her for 5-10 minutes. When you pet her, she will purr loudly. She loves tummy rubs. She is hesitant of new people but can be enticed to come out and play and gradually warms up. Churu treats are her favorite and she is highly motivated by treats. Treats have been helpful in earning trust and allowing us to pet her and eventually hold her. When it is supper time she will come running. She sleeps in a ferret cage with her siblings at night. I call them and tell them bedtime come get your treats and they run and jump in the cage. She is playful and has moderate energy followed by napping. She loves chasing and wrestling her siblings, running through the crinkle tunnel, climbing the cat tree, chasing balls and will bat the back and forth with you.

She loves laying in the kitty hammock when tired. She has been around her siblings and one other foster adult cat. She has not been around dogs or small children.
She would love go go home with one of her siblings, Eddie and Ella.

"Shy by Nature, Sweet by Spirit — Adopt with Patience and Love"

Adopt Etta today!

Please fill out and application on our website:
https://forpetsmankato.square.site/ Scroll down to “Adoption Application”.
OR
Scroll down this page to “Visit Our Profile” button which has a live link to our website.
