Ethel's Story

Ethel

Don't let the name fool you! Ethel is a young girl. She is a 1-year old female domestic short hair brown tabby. She is lovely. She was fostered with her sister Mildred, and it would be lovely if they could be adopted together, but it isn't mandatory. She loves other cats and will do best with another cat.

Ethel is from a junkyard and was being cared for by a man who passed away. Another elderly man was trying to care for her, but he was struggling. We are so thankful that someone learned about her situation and rescued her. She spent some time in her foster mom, who describes her for us:

Ethel presents a bit shy with new people, but she warms right up with patience, gentle interactions and play. She is lacking self-esteem and could really use an ego boost. . She should start out in a smaller room where she can feel safe and comfortable. Ethel will make a wonderful companion.

Ethel has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, viral tested and microchipped.

***

We are currently conducting in person adoptions on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1-5pm (walk-ins welcome, but appointments prioritized).
