Esther's Story
I am a very sweet tortie cat with extra toes on my front paws! They call that a Hemingway Polydactyl. My picture doesn’t do me justice, because I always squint my eyes at the flash, so I look kind of grumpy or mean – but I’m not! The people who rescued me know I must have had a family, because I’m very affectionate and loving, and I was already spayed, but I can’t tell anyone how I ended up outside all alone. I was out there for at least a couple months, being fed by a nice lady who worked hard to get me into foster care. I’m very grateful to be living indoors again, enjoying the outside through a window while I’m relaxing on the kitty perch in my nice room. I enjoy being petted and having someone brush my beautiful orange and black coat. I’m a real talkative girl too. I’m a little uneasy around other cats, so I may be happier as an only kitty, but I may get over that with the right cat. My vet says I am 1 – 2 years old, and I am up to date with vaccines and have been microchipped. Won’t you please give me the permanent home I am looking for – I will love you forever! If you are interested in giving me a permanent home, please call Kim at (630) 978-2546.
