Meet Esmeralda<br/><br/>She was born in late August 2025. Esmeralda is one of 5 from the "E" litter. They didn't have the best start in life, being born outside and struggling to survive with poor immune systems. Her left eye remains ulcerated from the herpes virus. She's an independent girl who tends to shy away from people during approach. But if you get down to her level, she both accepts and solicits love and petting. We continue to work on getting her more comfortable with people (who are tall and tower over her naturally).<br/><br/>She plays well independently and with other kitties. Esmeralda should be adopted with a younger kitty friend, under 2. Preferably with one of her brothers Enzo or Eli.<br/><br/>Does fine with dogs, Kids probably 8+. Loves the wand toy and churus- both great ways to build the bond between her and her human. She also enjoys the ball track, using horizontal scratchers as beds, and snuggling up in the hammocks on the cat tree.<br/>Initially, she'll make you earn her love but once you do, she's such a doll. She's black with a small white patch on her chest.<br/>She is litterbox trained.<br/><br/>Esmeralda is spayed , FeLV/FIV and heartworm negative, up to date on Rabies and Distemper vaccines, dewormed, flea/tick treated and Microchipped.<br/><br/>Adoption fee is $150.00.<br/>If you adopt her with either of her brothers Enzo or Eli, as a bonded pair, the adoption fee is $200.<br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting Esmeralda or one of her litter mates, please submit an application at https://worthytails.rescuegroups.org/.
