Esme's Story

Meet Esmeralda (Esme) — a 10-month-old tortoiseshell princess with strong opinions, excellent taste, and a permanently petite frame. At less than 6 pounds fully grown, Esme is already at her adult size: tiny, elegant, and very much aware that she is special.

Esme loves other cats and must have another feline friend in the home—ideally one who enjoys cuddling, because while she’s happy to entertain herself with her toys, snuggles are best with a warm, furry buddy. Humans must earn their way into her good graces. She’s skittish and particular, and all interactions happen strictly on her terms: when she wants affection, she’s sweet and charming and full of rumbly little purrs; when she doesn’t, she disappears like a cat-shaped puff of smoke.

Esme’s greatest weakness is food. Churus, cheese, chicken—if it’s remotely appealing to a cat, she wants it. Snacks turn her into a tiny gremlin who will perch nearby and stare intensely until you share. It’s very hard to resist.

She enjoys kick toys, cozy nap spots, and feline companionship, and while she may take a little time to fully settle in, once she does, you’ll have the honor of sharing your home with a small, discerning princess who knows exactly what she wants—and expects you to respect it.

Esme will thrive in a calm, low-key household with gentle, respectful people who understand that trust is built slowly. Dogs may not be her favorite at first, but with time and proper introductions, she’ll accept canine housemates. Kids should be calm, quiet, and cat-savvy only.

She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and up-to-date on all of her vaccinations. Now she just needs a forever home!

If you're interested in adopting, the first step is to fill out the application here:
http://bit.ly/3VDJfhm
