Esme Russian Blue Knoxville, TN

Esme is a beautiful, sweet Russian blue mix. Photos simply don't do her justice. She was rescued from a hoarding situation (a mobile home with 40+ cats inside) and was already a young mom at about 9 months old. She took good care of her 3 kittens (gray like her) but as soon as they were weaned she was ready to be a kitten again herself. She can be wildly playful, but also enjoys looking at the window at the world. She probably didn’t eat well or often in the past, which can happen in situations where there are lots of cats and not enough food), so she can be nervous about getting enough to eat. But she’s been nothing but sweet and loving to her foster family. After her kittens were adopted, she became close with other kittens in the house - showing them the ropes and bathing them as needed. She has a lovely voice that she uses often to locate her furry friends and humans. She would also be fine as an only cat in a home where she can get lots of attention and introduced to toys and interactive play. We think she’d be fine other cats following a proper introduction, unsure about dogs. Esme is negative for feline leukemia and aids, current on her distemper and the vaccines, been wormed, had advantage for fleas, and been vet checked and spayed.
