Ernie's Story

Ernie & Elliott are teenage kitten brothers who are ready to meet the family who will take them home and love them forever! These boys are very bonded to each other and need a playmate in their new family, so they will be adopted as a pair.

**Ernie & Elliott will only be adopted as a pair. **

Ernie & Elliott are loving, playful, and confident tabby tigers. They enjoy endless hours playing together and they enjoy all kinds of toys and "chase and rassle" games. Like all teenage boys, they sometimes get carried away with curiousity and forget the house rules, but with gentle guidance they are growing into very easy-going and agreeable grown-up cats.

When playtime is over, they love to snack, nap, and just hang out. They will expect to be welcomed to sleep on the bed with the people in their new home. Ernie is very much a lap lover, and enjoys sharing couch time. Elliott is not as eager for close personal contact, but he wants to be nearby and participate in the goings-on of the household. They have lived happily with other cats and enjoy meeting new people, including young ones. Although they haven't lived with a dog, we expect they would be agreeable to having a respectful dog sibling, with proper introductions, of course.

Ernie & Elliott have been neutered, microchipped, are up to date on vaccines, and have tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

The adoption fee is $150 for both.

If you are interested in meeting Ernie & Elliott please fill out the adoption interest form at our website (www.pdx-petadoption.org) and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.

Animal Rescue & Care Fund is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.
