Ernie's Story

Ernie was found chewing on a chicken wing bone in the middle of the night between two cars on a busy street.

While he was eating the non-existent meat on said chicken bone, he was also crying out loud... His cries didn't go unnoticed as I was out trapping cats for t&r appointments and saw him before I heard him!

He would not let me approach him at first so I put out a trap and threw some food in there and low and behold, the hungry kitten went into the trap!

After I brought Ernie home, gave him a Dawn dish soap bath and some food. He was ready to party and play! Ernie is calmer than Bert and is looking for his forever family. Is that you?!

Friends of Normie's Adoption Policy
We start with an application. If the application is approved, we then call the applicant. We do a phone interview that lasts anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour. If another phone call is needed, we may do multiple. If those two steps go well, we then do a home check and then a supply check to make sure the applicant meets our standards of care. If an applicant passes those steps, we then will set up a meet and greet and see how the applicant does with that kitty. If that step goes well, they are then cleared for adoption and are able to take the kitty home in a carrier (not cardboard box).
