Erik's Story

Meet Erik, a friendly and affectionate 21-month-old tuxedo cat who needs a safe place to land before he can find his forever home.

Named after the Phantom of the Opera, Erik was either lost or abandoned and found his way to a backyard where he’s been living alongside a feral cat in outdoor shelters.

Unfortunately, the homeowners won't bring him inside and are now threatening to take him to the ACC. Being FIV+, he'll most likely be euthanized.

Erik has already been vetted—he’s neutered, vaccinated, and FIV+. But don’t let that worry you! He’s a gentle soul, not a fighter, and can safely live with non-FIV+ cats.

The vet and techs all fell in love with him, commenting on how incredibly sweet he was. He just needs a foster home to help him adjust to indoor life so he can find the love and security he deserves.
