She now has developed a severe cat allergy and we are sadly needing to rehome the cat. This has been a very hard decision but hope to find her the best home. <br/><br/>Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): She has lived her entire life indoors and has a gentle personality. She’s shy at first, but once she gets comfortable, she’s very easygoing. She loves to purr and just wants to be loved. But please always limit these as they aren’t the best for cat’s health. <br/><br/>Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): Litter Box, Food/Water Bowl, extra food and litter that we have. <br/><br/>What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): dry only<br/>BUT I JUST LEARNED from this rescue lady how IMPORTANT giving wet food is DAILY (and limiting the crappy dry food and temptation treats) so I don’t fill up on that . You want your kitty to finish all their wet food!<br/>More below on why. <br/>:::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress.
