Enid's Story
If you want a very outgoing and playful kitty, Enid is your gal! She has lived with other cats and cat friendly dogs and does well with both. She is very adaptable and quick to make friends. She is quite close with her friend Wednesday so we would like them to be adopted as a pair.

Enid has beautiful amber eyes that match the bits of ginger in her coat. She is smart, mischievous, curious, courageous, lean and athletic. After she ended up with half her body in the 13 gallon trash can, measures were taken to prevent her from pushing open the swinging lid...she figured out how to get her head under the lid by pulling instead of pushing. She allows herself to be picked up and loved on, but not for long if you are the initiator. She prefers to choose when she needs some loving and will come to you, nestling in your arms, purring, giving nose kisses and sometimes falling asleep. Spots of sunshine and in front of a warm fireplace are two of her favorite places to relax. She loves stuffed toys and has been carrying around a giraffe that is almost half her length. Enid gets along with the resident 12 lb. calico cat, who is not all that friendly to the fosters. She loves the 15 lb. lap dog, rubbing up against him, swatting his wagging tail, and inviting him to play. She has a voracious appetite but is not territorial with food. Her bonded sister Wednesday is allowed to steal food, and the dog wandering near is not a problem. All of them have treat time together in the kitchen and there is no squabbling. Enid uses scratching posts, rarely bothers the furniture, and understands the word No, as well as words of praise.
