Endora's Story

Meet Endora, a sweet, adorable, shy tuxedo girl. One of many kitties who came from a farm overrun with cats when one of the owners died, the other elderly who became overwhelmed with the cats overpopulating and unable to feed or care for those with medical needs. The location of the farm is located between two counties so the kitties who have been trapped are called the "south county line kitties" and are named after country western singers.

Endora is still trying to trust she is in a safe place. Endora came from a situation where some of the cats were confident and outgoing, while others like her were timid and introverted. Endora will need a patient adopter, willing to work with her daily by giving pets and praise and wet food. She adores wet food so that will be a way to gain her trust and be a bonding exercise. Endora accepts pets and even had some lap time with a volunteer so we know this little girl has a lot of potential.

Endora would do best in a quieter, routine home with an adopter able to spend time with her. She would be a good fit for a single adopter, or a couple. A family with older respectful children might be okay, too.

We believe that kittens are happiest when they have another kitty to play with so Endora will need to be adopted with another kitten here or already have a young playful cat at home.

Endora has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Endora's approximate birthdate is 07/11/2025. Her adoption fee is $120.

If you are interested in meeting Endora or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, please go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.

Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.

Thank you!
