Emmaline's Story
These beautiful kittens were born outside to a feral mom and trapped at the historic Herndon Depot museum. The trapper was a true hero getting them inside, but it took several weeks to snag those wary kittens one by one. Elliott, who was the youngest when he came inside, thinks indoor life is nifty. He is friendly and playful, gets along well with his foster sibs from another litter, and just needs the perqs and devotion to keep coming. He is besties with his brother Bennie, who was next to come inside. Bennie is sweet and timid, but loves affection and has a very large purr for such a small boy. He will blossom with attention and encouragement. Geordie and Emmaline are closely bonded. They were the last to come inside and are learning to trust human care and attention. They are sweet-natured kittens, and would make a good pair for an experienced cat owner who is willing to invest the time to let them know they are safe now and will be loved for a lifetime.
