Emma's Story

Emma came to us as a scrappy stray mom with a litter of kittens and a fire in her heart. After raising her babies like a champ, she was spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, then adopted out to be a yard cat. But Emma had other plans—she loved to be in the office and give the staff affection but she kept running away and getting picked up by animal control and eventually was brought back into the rescue.
Emma is a cat who knows what she wants. She’s not your average cuddle bug—she’s got a bit of a independent streak and doesn’t care much for other cats. But give her space, and she’ll thrive and possibly show love and appreciation for a safe home. She’s not looking for a lap; she’s looking for a home and a soft bed. She has also had some bladder issues and will need to be on a wet food only diet.
We’re hoping to find Emma a special placement—somewhere safe where she can do what she loves and be the strong-willed queen she was born to be.
If you think you have the right setup for Emma or know someone who does, please reach out. She deserves a place where she can be exactly who she is meant to be.
