Meet Emma

Emma came to Safe Haven almost a year ago after being trapped with her 5 small kittens. They were fortunate to be rescued from a difficult life, hiding in a wood pile. It didn't take long for her adorable kittens to be adopted, but due to her feral nature, Emma is still with us. She has graduated from being feral, to semi-feral thanks to the dedication of our volunteers who have coaxed her out of her cubby. She now explores her room, sleeps in the sunshine instead of a cave, and licks treats of the volunteers' fingers. She socializes with the other cats in the room and has been found grooming several of them. She is a shy, gentle kitty who would do best in a quiet home with adults, or maybe older children who are patient with her socializing progress and understanding of her need for space to get away from any commotion. She would enjoy the company of another easy-going cat, but we don't know her experience with dogs.

If you are interested in meeting Emma, please go to our website and fill out an adoption application and we will be in touch to make an appointment for your visit. Filling out an application is not a commitment to adopt.
