Emma's Story

Emma is a young, beautiful, medium-sized Tabby, who comes to us as a rescue from Hardin County Animal Shelter and is one of many we will be taking from them to try and help ease their load. Much of her day is spent just looking for someone to play with and the recent adoption of Ariel, means Taffy is also looking for a new buddy and the two should get along great. Emma prefers the quiet of the basement at ARC and you should have no trouble spotting her as she is always around. Emma has zero interest in going outside and would do well as an only cat or in a home with 1 or 2 other kitties. She doesn't mind dogs either and she basically just ignores them, so a home with a cat friendly dog(s) is also a possibility.

Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs
All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention. The Animal Refuge Center has these and many more pets waiting for a good home. Note: The Animal Refuge Center has a "No-Declaw" policy. Our cats are too old to be declawed without risk of serious behavioral problems.
If you are interested in adoption, just fill out our handy Adoption Application right here at http://animalrefugecenter.org/adoption-application/

If you cannot adopt a pet but would still like to help, see our Sponsor Program information at http://animalrefugecenter.org/services/sponsor-program/
