Emily - BONDED's Story
Emily is a beautiful torbie girl who arrived at the lounge with her mom, Mama D.D., and siblings two springs ago. She is a spunky and playful girl who loves wire and wand toys and will swat away any cat in her path when on the hunt. While not a lap kitty, Emily does like pets and gently rubs against your hand when in the mood for some affection. When she bonds with someone she will constantly look for them, checking in every chance she gets. Her large, round eyes are not just a dazzling inheritance, but also a reflection of her wonder and curiosity; she enjoys window-watching and will paw at the glass when something outside piques her interest. While Emily isn’t usually interested in spending time with other cats, Mama D.D. is the exception. Even as her siblings grew up and went their separate ways, Emily stuck by her mama’s side, coming back for her for comfort and cuddles. At first Mama D.D. tried to encourage her independence, but with time came to accept Emily’s constant presence as it became clear she would not be going anywhere. They share a special bond and must be adopted together, though they would do best in a home without other cats as Emily can be feisty with other felines. Once she has found a home where she can really bond with someone, she’ll become a devoted sidekick, comfortable seeking affection and attention. Together, Mama D.D. and Emily will blossom into confident companions and family members, bringing a special warmth with them wherever they go.

All of our adoptable cats reside at Feline Good Social Club cat lounge in Long Beach, CA.
