Emery's Story

Emery is ready to find a home where he can fully lean into his true calling: professional lap cat.

This 2 to 3 year old handsome boy came from a large hoarding/neglect situation where he was living outdoors in a shed with 150+ other cats. Now some cats would (understandably) come out of an environment like that a little unsure. Emery came out of it deciding that humans, dogs, couches, and running water are the greatest inventions of all time.

He is extremely laid back and just genuinely enjoys being near his people. He is a total lap cat and will happily settle in the second you sit or lay down.

He’s great with other cats and loves dogs. Not just tolerates them. Loves them. He actively tries to cuddle up with them, which is both bold and adorable.

He has a playful side and will happily bat around all the toys.

Emery does have one very specific life preference. He prefers his water fresh from the sink. He will politely but persistently meow until you turn it on so he can enjoy a proper drink. Honestly, he’s not wrong.

Emery is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. He’s healthy, happy, and very ready to find a home where he can be someone’s constant companion.

If you’re looking for an easygoing, dog-loving, lap-claiming best friend, Emery is your guy.
