Emerald

Emerald recently found his way back to us after his owner passed away. He was adopted from us as a kitten, and 9 years later found his way back. We got a call that he was at the Horry County Shelter, animal control brought him and his chip hadn't been changed which was good for Emerald because now he has a 2nd chance!<br/>He is a very big boy and extremely sweet. He LOVES belly rubs. He mostly keeps to himself, but when you walk in, he'll give a quick coo and ask for pets. He also has the most beautiful green eyes. <br/>Emerald was already chipped and fixed, so we took him to the vet to get him updated on shots, disease tested and ran bloodwork just to make sure everything is ok since he's a senior. He is FIV/FeLV negative and his blood work came back ok. So now Emerald can be adopted and live the rest of his life out in another peaceful home. <br/>He is ok with cats and tolerates dogs as long as they give him his space. <br/>Emerald would probably do best in another home with adults/seniors since that is the life he is used to living.
