Meet Emerald! Emerald is a 3 year old spayed female, grey/white DSH.<br/>Emerald came in to the shelter after her family lost their home in the tornados at Indian Lake in 2024. As you can imagine she has been through a lot, so she can be hesitant at first. She is currently on a weight loss journey and would love an owner who could help keep her active during it! She is very vocal, always demanding attention and treats(hence the weight loss journey). She also has allergies and requires allergy medications. Emerald does good with other cats and children who can respect when she needs her space <br/><br/>The $75 adoption fee includes all initial vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, and a deworming. We are a BEST MATCH facility. We try to match the pet’s personality and needs with the family’s needs and lifestyle to increase the likelihood of a lifetime happy relationship for the whole family. The online application we provide on our website, achs-pets.com, is a preliminary application. We will check the veterinary information of the applicant’s other current animals as well as any past animals they have had in the last 7 years. We also get the landlord permission to have pets if the applicant is a renter.
