HELLO! I'm Elvin and I'm a super sweet feline. I've had some ups and downs in life so far but I'm doing great and ready for a loving home.  I'm a talkative guy and I make silly noises sometimes. I'm very gentle and a real lover of people.  I have had some medical issues but I am doing great now.   I came from a cat hoarding situation originally and that might be why I don't have good cat manners and want to fight other cats.

Likes: I adore people and being in a lap. I especially love cheek and chin scritches. I like to sleep at the foot of a human bed. I'm mellow for a lot of the day but I also love to play!

I get zoomies in the evenings when I like to chase invisible creatures around the house. I don't always want attention but I do like to follow people around the house to be near them.

Dislikes: I don't like other cats even though I'm interested in them. I want to chase them and fight them. I wouldn't do well with dogs either.

Special Needs:  I have a history of urinary crystals and I almost got blocked when they was discovered. Since eating a prescription urinary diet that breaks up and prevents the crystals (Royal Canin Urinary SO) I haven't had any issues with this. I also had an irregular heart beat and went to a specialist. The doc said I have bradycardia responsive to stimulation and mild aortic regurgitation and I should have a recheck at the cardiologist around Feb 2022. But this heart condition shouldn't affect my life; I may need special anesthesia monitoring for any surgical procedures though. It could have been caused by an infection earlier in my life. I had a dental with some tooth extractions in May and did great for that. 

Looking for: A home looking for a love bug who wants to be an only cat.
