Elvi's Story

Elvi is a little shy at first, but life as a feral cat was scary! A sweet lady provided food and shelter for her feral mama and took care of her and her siblings once she was born. Elvi and her siblings were feral, but they have learned to trust humans because of the time and patience of their rescuer! Once Elvi opens up, she is the biggest love bug and big talker. She still gets startled, but she is getting braver by the day. She loves to play and cuddle with her sister Prax. She is the softest little girl and she is very gentle. Wichita Animal Action League's Adoption Policy

Adoption fees vary. All animals are sterilized, vaccinated, heartworm tested (dogs), FeLV tested (cats), microchipped, dewormed and have had monthly heartworm and flea and tick prevention. All animals are adopted to indoor-only homes. No declawing. Fill out an application at WAALrescue.org/adoptions to get matched with an animal and schedule a meeting.
