Elsie came to our rescue when we received a call from a woman who reported a very sweet pregnant momma cat showed up at her door. Our foster couple came to the rescue once again and brought Elsie into their care. Days later she gave birth to her three kittens. Elsie was an amazing mother and did a great job raising her babies into crazy lovable bundles of energy. <br/><br/>Now our girl is ready for a family to give her all the love she deserves. Elsie is a very sweet young girl who loves attention, sitting on your lap, and getting brushed. Mostly prefers to be the only cat. She's a real gem who deserves the best!<br/><br/>Our adoptions run as follows:<br/><br/>SCHEDULED VISITS: We are a rescue group which means all of our cats/kittens are technically in foster care. We are not set up for drop in visits.<br/><br/>ADOPTION FEE: Our adoption fee is $150 per pet.<br/><br/>APPLICATION: Our adoption application is posted here: http://bit.ly/app-cats<br/>(copy and paste into your web browser's address bar) or you will find it located in our “MORE ABOUT US” section. Once we receive your application, and a background check is completed, a meeting with the pet of your choice will be scheduled.<br/><br/>AGE: You must be 21 or older to adopt from our rescue. Sorry!<br/><br/>NO STATE RESTRICTIONS: We do not restrict our adoptions to RI.<br/><br/>CONTACT: All of our contact is done through e-mails until you are called by David who is the gentleman that reviews all of our applicants.<br/><br/>PERSONALITIES: All the information available about this pets personality, likes, background, etc... are listed in this write up. Remember – most of our pets come from off the streets and we are just learning about them also.<br/><br/>COMPATIBILITY: Our foster couple only have cats and kittens in their home. We have no way of knowing what the reaction would be with our foster animals meeting your children or pets. As with all new introductions, it would take time and effort on your part to introduce them slowly and give them their own space when needed.<br/><br/>HEALTHY - All of our pets will be fully vetted, FIV/FeLV combo tested, current on all shots, microchipped and spayed/neutered BEFORE heading off to their new home.<br/><br/>BE PATIENT PLEASE: Dave and Sue have many applications that they review every day (on top of care for all the fosters cats and kittens) and the process can take time. Please be patient with us.<br/><br/>Please remember that we work on a first come/best fit basis so the sooner you get your application back the better your chances are that you will have a new love in your life.<br/><br/>P.S.: Our ACO is not involved with any of the cat/kitten placement procedures so please do not contact her for assistance.
