Elsa's Story

Elsa is about 5 months old. She came to the shelter last month after being found in a snowbank on a remote stretch of M-123. She was suffering from mild frostbite, and was friendly but very afraid. She has since been spayed, brought up to date with vaccinations, and is ready for her new home!

Elsa has made a lot of progress with shelter staff, but is still fearful of new people, sudden sounds, and quick movements. Because of this, she would not be a good companion for younger children.

To ensure the best chance at a successful adoption, we will require her future family to make several visits to the shelter to spend time with her. It is very important that she has a chance to become comfortable with them, as going to a new home is sure to be overwhelming to her.

To meet Elsa, please stop by the shelter any day of the week between the hours of 10am and 2pm!
