Elsa's Story

Elsa is a super sweet, super affectionate, super playful, all around super young lady. She was not feeling well and hungry so found herself on a busy street in someone's yard looking for help. When she came into our rescue she had flea dermatitis and ringworm. She was so skinny and her coat was in horrible condition. We took her in and had her completely vetted. She recovered from the fleas, worms, ringworm and took a couple months for the ulcer in her mouth to heal from lack of nutrition and to fight off a terrible upper respiratory infection She is doing much better now, and her coat is growing back in nicely. Even with the bathing and medications, from day one she was an absolute pleasure. Purring, rubbing up on you, and loving attention and play time. She is now so much better and ready to find a family to call her own. She gets along with other cats and is very curious about the dogs in her foster home. Together Furever Animal Rescue, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

We require all adopters to fill out an application. We will do an interview on the phone, answer any questions you may have, check references and do a home visit either virtually or in person. Since we highly value and respect our foster's time, an approved application is required before meet. Once application is approved adopter will be able to speak to the foster parent of a pet they are interested in. They can then schedule a visit that is convenient to both adopter and foster to meet. When a match is found and at the time of adoption, adoption fee is paid and you can take your new family member home!
