Elliot's Story

Meet Elliot! This one year old male is a high energy fellow, bored as can be at the shelter. He loves to be pet and will obsessively rub your legs purring to get your attention. While definitely not the case in the beginning of his shelter stay he has started getting too rambunctious at times, wanting to rough house with your hands when being pet. He has struggled to find cats that want to play with him and honestly is just bored with too much pent up energy. He tries to run around playing with toys on his own and will inevitably run into a cranky old cat, ruining his fin. Does he love bite at times? Yes (this is a new thing). Does he want to murder you? Absolutely not. He’s just so starved for attention here!

Elliot has lived with other cats and older children. He may do well with a dog companion with the proper slow introduction. Due to his energy level and somewhat unpredictable nature lately we feel like older children would be best. Will he simmer down with age and in a home with more space and attention? Likely. He just needs a cat savvy person to give him that!

Elliot is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV and heartworm disease. *Questions?
