Ellie and Hazel (sisters)'s Story
These cats were adopted from us as cute little kittens three years ago. The adopter attempted to dump them at the humane society but the staff at the humane society contacted us. The adopter is moving, and they cannot come. They have received zero veterinary care in the 3 years they were with that person, and he hasn’t checked on them once since surrendering them.
Ellie and Hazel were extremely traumatized at first and it has taken a couple of weeks for them to start eating again and stop hiding. Hazel is very shy. Ellie is coming out for attention now and is very affectionate.
If anyone is interested in giving these sisters a second chance please contact us. A long term foster situation is also welcome, because it isn’t easy to adopt out adults in our area.
