Ellie's Story

Ellie was rescued in November after being found in a backyard in West New York. She had been getting regular meals from a kind feeder who noticed how friendly she was and reached out to us for help. Once Ellie came indoors, her sweet personality immediately shone through.

Ellie was recently vetted and diagnosed with gingivitis. She received an antibiotic injection, and we’ll continue to monitor her to see if the inflammation returns. If it does, she may need periodic veterinary care to keep her comfortable and healthy. Because of this, Ellie will need an adopter who can maintain a good relationship with their vet and ensure she receives checkups every few months if needed.

Aside from her dental needs, Ellie is a gentle, affectionate cat who loves attention and adapts wonderfully to indoor life. She’s grateful for warmth, safety, and a cozy place to nap.

If you’re looking for a loving, easygoing companion and are able to support her ongoing care, Ellie would be an incredible addition to your home.
