Hi everyone my name is Elide. My siblings and I were found without our mom when we were about 3 weeks old. At that time my back legs were dragging behind me. We don&#39;t know the cause of my paraplegia. It could be a birth defect or traumatic birth, or an injury after birth.<br/><br/>Despite not having any use of my back legs I am a very happy and spry little girl. I love to wrestle and play. I also love to snuggle. I used to get daily baths to help keep me clean. But now that I&#39;ve gotten older I don&#39;t go potty in my purr-maid tail as much and rarely need a bath.I wear my purr-maid tail most of the time, but it&#39;s not that bad. I&#39;ve gotten used to them and they help keep me clean. I get my bladder expressed 3 times a day but I got poopy all on my own.My new family will need to be dedicated to making sure my bladder is expressed regularly to help me avoid getting UTIs and skin infections.I am fully vaccinated for the year, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed!
