Eleven (bonded to Robin)'s Story
Our Longest ALDR Adoption Kitty Residents
Robin (black and white) and Eleven (tortie) are almost 3 years old and have spent their lives together, so they must be adopted as a pair. These sisters are shy by nature and will need a quiet, patient home where they can feel safe.
They are not the type of cats who will immediately seek out affection. Robin has taken a couple of years in foster care to feel comfortable enough to curl up in her foster mom's lap, and Eleven now enjoys being petted when she feels safe. With new people, both will take time to adjust and may keep their distance at first.
That said, they do enjoy the company of other cats and often play or snuggle with their foster brother. They will need adopters who are okay with cats that may never be social butterflies, but who can still appreciate them for who they are.
Robin and Eleven may not be for everyone, but for the right patient person or family, they will be a sweet, enjoyable presence in the home.
Adoption Applications on our website: www.animalluvrs.org
