Elenore's Story

Elenore is a beautiful long haired, blue eyed Siamese/Himalayan mix with the longest whiskers ever seen on a cat! She showed up about 2 years ago into an outside colony of cats and has been living outside. She has always been friendly, and her caretaker asked if we could find her an adopter so she could live out her life comfortably indoors.

Elenore is estimated to be about 8-10 years old by our vet. She is in good health and her labwork shows no chronic conditions. She is very sweet, and loves to purr and make biscuits. And when she is very relaxed, her little tongue sticks out! She is not a super active cat, and prefers long naps and curling up with someone willing to pet her and brush her. She is a little shy and is currently in foster care learning how to be an inside cat.

She will need someone patient and kind, who is willing to give her the time and attention she needs to blossom. She has not been around dogs, kids, or other cats while in our care. But since she lived in a colony of cats she would probably adapt to another calm cat in the household given the proper time and introductions. She will do best in a quiet home with someone who isn’t gone long hours of the day. She would make an excellent match for someone retired who needs a companion at home and who has a nice warm lap that Elenore can occupy!

She is spayed, combo tested negative, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas.
