Eleanor's Story

Eleanor is an Eskamani feral who took one look at indoor life and immediately decided she had made the correct choices. She sleeps with us, settles in like she has always belonged there, and carries herself with the calm confidence of a cat who knows exactly where the soft blankets are.

She is unfailingly polite. Eleanor asks for pets instead of demanding them, waits her turn, and somehow makes every interaction feel intentional. When she wants attention, she approaches gently, makes her request known, and then melts into it like that was the plan all along. She is sweet in a quiet, steady way that sneaks up on you.

Eleanor is the kind of cat who fits into a home rather than takes it over. If you are looking for a gentle companion who appreciates comfort, routine, and being close to her people, Eleanor is ready to settle in with someone who will let her stay.

****

Brozanski for Cats believes that no cat should be left outside. We work to find homes for feral cats and kittens by partnering with local TNR programs. With patience, care, and socialization, cats considered "unadoptable" can become wonderful friends and family members. All of our adoptees are TNRH rescues, saved from a life outdoors and are ready for a loving home.

Brozanski for Cats's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process works to ensure that our cats are placed in homes that are properly prepared to commit to a lifelong family member. We encourage a meet-and-greet of our cats wherein we discuss personality fits, expectations of feral cats as pets, and transitioning into new homes. We then require a 7-day waiting period after selecting an adoptee to further safeguard against impulsive decision making. Adopted cats are sent home with an exit package that includes all medical paperwork, a transitional timeline guide and an agreement that we may check-in after 24hours, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months to see how the cat(s) are doing. We offer advice and support during the transition period and also allow for returns if the adoption doesn't work out.
