Eleanor's Story

Meet Eleanor, or as we like to call her, “Ellie the Great.”

This little lady came to us at the end of July, snatched from the depths of what can only be described as a cat-sized horror movie by the fabulous Susie Q Rescue back in March. When they first laid eyes on her, she was pregnant—because, of course, that’s what every young cat dreams of, right? Unfortunately, her tiny litter didn’t make it; clearly, those kittens didn’t get the memo that Ellie is not just a typical cat but a budding superstar still figuring out her own life.

When Eleanor arrived, she was about as social as a wet mop—hiding from anyone who dared to breathe in her direction. But oh, how the mighty have transformed! After a few months of socialization (and maybe some questionable catnip decisions), she has emerged as the life of the feline party! Now you can often find her hoping around at the café, impatiently tapping her paw and demanding someone toss her favorite bird toy. Who knew she’d be an avid bird watcher?

Now, let’s get serious—or at least as serious as we can get. Eleanor is looking for a quiet home where she can take her sweet time warming up to her new human friends. If you’re someone who values patience (and doesn’t mind a little feline drama), you’ll be rewarded with a spirit that’s ready to cuddle. Just keep an eye out for her lounging regally on the shelves or performing her showstopping peek-a-boo from the window. She adores gentle pets, affection, and showing off her remarkable ability to nap.

A little about our lovely Ellie:
- She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped
- FIV/FeLV negative (she says thanks for asking!)
- She’s on a monthly regimen of dewormer and flea & tick treatment because even queens deserve pampering
- Ready to rock your world—safely, of course

Adoption Fee $200

If you’re on the lookout for a sweet companion with an interesting backstory and her own unique charm, please consider adopting Eleanor. She deserves a loving family, a cozy spot, and maybe just a touch of drama in her new home!

Apply baristacatscafe.org/adopt-a-paws
