I’m Eleanor, born October 11, 2023, and ready to steal your heart with my charming antics! I’m a total sweetheart who absolutely loves attention—and I’m not shy about demanding it. I’ll happily meow and purr until you give me all the pets I crave. When I flop over onto my side, it’s my way of saying, “Hey, look at me!”—but heads up, belly rubs are not on the menu!<br/><br/>I might be a little cautious when meeting new faces, but once I know you mean love and kindness, I become a whirlwind of silly, outgoing fun. I’m downright goofy and endlessly entertaining—whether I’m chasing a laser or mesmerized by cat videos on YouTube (yes, really!), I’m always up for a good time.<br/><br/>I have a calm and steady temperament that balances perfectly with my playful streak. Wand toys and lasers? Consider me obsessed! While new places can still make me a tad nervous, I’m growing braver every day. I get along great with other cats and would thrive in a home with older, respectful kids who understand my sensitive side. Dogs? All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted.<br/><br/>Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet.<br/><br/>Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.<br/><br/>No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.<br/><br/>We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.
