Elara's Story

Meet Elara!
Elara is a little fluff ball with the roundest face and the cutest little socks! She is a funny girl, who loves to play, wrestle, and snuggle. When shes sleepy, she loves to be pet and has a super loud purr. Her favorite is a good back scratch or chin rub. She is the kind of cute that is absolutely overwhelming and makes you just want to kiss her little face and watch her play for hours! Her fur is incredibly soft and fluffy too, its so warm and cozy for snuggles.

Elara is very energetic and is super fond of other cats, she would do best in a home with another kitten or young/playful cat. She would likely adapt to a dog well, but we're sure she'd somehow get even fluffier seeing one for the first time. She would love kids as well as long as they play with her constantly and approach her gently. She is still getting used to meeting new people, so she can be a little scared of people approaching quickly. Some treats and a toy to chase will have her coming straight to you though, those make any hesitation absolutely dissappear.

All cats and kittens adopted through Friends of Felines are spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations and rabies shots (if old enough).

See our adoption process below:

1) Fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofelines.org/adopt
2) Meet with the cat in their foster home
3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a take home date 1-7 days after the meeting depending on schedules.
