Einstein's Story

Einstein is a handsome brown-and-black tabby with a striking “M” across his forehead and plenty of personality to match his brilliant name. While he can be a little shy at first in new surroundings, Einstein’s personality quickly comes out once he’s comfortable and his playful, affectionate side starts to shine! Before long, he’ll be rubbing against your legs, leaning in for gentle pets, and letting you know when it’s time to play. And Einstein loves to play.

He’s a big fan of chasing string, playing fetch, and kicking around his beloved catnip toys. When he’s ready for a break, you can often find him perched by an open window watching the world go by or keeping a very close (and occasionally suspicious!) eye on the blinds. Einstein is independent but affectionate and loves being near his people. He’ll happily curl up on your lap while you relax or wander into the bedroom at night to cuddle up for some sleep. He also enjoys feline company and loves following his foster sibling around the house for a good game of chase.

A calm, cat-savvy home where Einstein can settle in at his own pace would be a great fit for this sweet guy. He’d love people who will give him plenty of playtime, enrichment, and affection, along with an active feline friend or two to join in the fun. Give him a little patience while he gets to know you, and you’ll soon discover a clever, entertaining, and wonderfully quirky companion with lots of love to give. Einstein was born 12/15/21.

If you live in Chicago and are interested in learning more about Einstein, please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com and Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com. Please tell us a bit about your situation, what you are looking for, the composition of your current household (the other humans and/or pets who already live there). Inquires with these questions answered are responded to promptly.

We are always in need of foster homes.
