Eggroll's Story

This gorgeous cat-cow is Eggroll. She came to us as a very sick tiny kitten and has blossomed into a sophisticated but slightly aloof young adult. She is what we call and Ornamental Cat. She has always been unafraid of and appreciative of humans, but isn’t particularly fond of being petted. She’s not mean in any way, but she’ll get up and casually stay just out of reach when you try to pet her. She doesn’t mind being picked up but doesn’t want to be held. She likes being human adjacent and will hang out in the room with you, but she may never be a lap cat. With time and patience and treats, she could definitely become a much more social kitty.
