Edward with the bad haircut and his best friend Lance's Story

Lance and Edward with the bad haircut . If I could put into words how incredibly special and unique these two cats are … but there aren’t words good enough to describe what incredible beautiful souls they are . If I could keep any two cats from the beginning of my time in rescue it would be them . ???? If you asked me what cats are the best personalities , most loving , most appreciative , cats who will show you a love you have likely never known and gratitude on a level you have never seen it’s these boys . Edward has been with us exactly a year this week. Lance came to us in April. Both cats with FIV who had suffered greatly at the hands of awful humans . Edward was discarded with his sibling after his owner moved and left them to fend on their own. He sadly watched him be killed by a neighbor’s dog . A “ helpful neighbor “ took him in to live in the worst filth you could possibly imagine ( he was climbing in fleas HUMAN lice and even had a couple bed bugs removed from his fur coming to us ) The conditions in which he was living in after his rescue were reported and home condemned and children removed . He was being fed bologna on good days when he was fed . Lance came from a colony of cats that were repeatedly attacking him when he would try to eat and spent many years outside suffering until his feeder rescued him and realizing after initial vetting was done that he was FIV positive no one was able to take him and he was in danger of having to go back outside . These two boys have developed a bond like no other I have seen and endured sickness , frostbitten ears, injuries, infections , infected broke teeth etc together and also have healed together physically and emotionally through love in their foster homes . To see two defeated souls come alive and flourish with their sparkling eyes and spirits have been one of my favorite stories of rescue . Lance is a little over ten years old and Edward is guesstimated at 5-7. They both are neutered vaccinated and have had EXTENSIVE THOROUGH vetting costing over $6000. These are the sweetest toothless boys you will ever meet . They’re brand new and they are feeling it ! Watch them love , live and play in these videos - there is nothing more heartwarming . We are looking for a VERY special adopter or adopters to keep these two boys together , to properly care for them and to provide them the love they deserve for the rest of their days . Yes it’s okay to add them to a home with friendly cats who don’t have FIV ! They love kitty friends and have had several in foster . FIV is a lowered immune system or delayed healing and recovery . As any other cat they should have annual wellness exams , regular blood work , and a high quality diet , most importantly an environment that has an abundance of love to give . NO DOGS. Respectful kitty savvy children are fine . These two have waited a very long time to find their happily ever after .

apply here : https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdbUw1D0Qgm0yqXYJdAwkt8Rj8t_ylYnadgViL2vZZXq_xBUA/viewform?usp=embed_facebook
