?? Say hello to Edgar and Poe. This poetic duo are looking for a home together, as they are littermates and close pals. These stunning boys were both extremely shy, timid and not interested in interacting with people when they arrived at the shelter as young kittens and the progress they have made has been truly heartwarming to see. Poe has emerged as the more outgoing and social of the two, while Edgar remains somewhat reserved but still leaps and bounds from where he started. They are about six months old, neutered, current on vaccinations and FelV/FIV negative.<br/>Edgar and Poe need an adopter who understands that they are socially still a work in progress and need time and patience to continue to thrive. We feel Edgar and Poe would do best in a home without young children and without dogs.

Our mission is to provide a healthy, safe, and caring environment for each animal in our keeping, and ultimately to place them in loving “forever homes.” We fulfill our mission by ensuring that each animal is spayed or neutered prior to adoption, and also by providing other medical care and comfort items for the animals. From Points North: Take 95 South to Exit 9 (exit is on the left), RI-4 South toward North Kingstown. After 9.3 miles, turn left onto West Allenton Road. After 1/2 mile, turn right onto Tower Hill Road/US-1. After .2 miles, turn left onto Hamilton Allenton Road. 395 Hamilton Allenton Road is about 1/2 mile on the left. Another way to get here is by taking Route 1 South (Post Road) past the Wickford turn off (a 4-way intersection with Ten Rod Road on your right and Phillips Street on your left). Continue south 2 miles, turn left onto Hamilton Allenton Road. 395 Hamilton Allenton Road is about 1/2 mile on the left.
