Eddie - (bb)'s Story

Meet the Van Halen kittens: Eddie, Sammy, Michael Anthony, and Valerie, ready to bring their rambunctious and playful energy to your home.

Eddie is the smallest of his litter and was the shyest kitten when he got to his foster home. He will take some time to settle in when you bring him home, but once Eddie feels safe with you he will squint and purr while you kiss his head, rub your face in his belly, and scratch his ears and chin. He's very good about remembering not to use his claws when you're playing with him, though he still gets overexcited sometimes and forgets. He's a climber, racer, chewer, and goes absolutely bananas for tiny fabric mice and for Cat TV videos on YouTube. He and his siblings love to race through the house, leaping into the air and colliding with one another, and he particularly likes to play king of the mountain and knock his siblings off whichever cat tree he's presently claimed. He loves the big cats at his foster home and would probably do very well with dogs, though he's never met one. Eddie would prefer a home without children though older, cat-savvy kids are a possibility.

Eddie needs to go home with his brother Michael Anthony, they're quite closely bonded and depend on one another for their courage.

Eddie is FIV and FeLV negative.

SPOT's adoption fee for a kitten is $175, which includes Eddie's neuter surgery, microchipping, FeLV/FIV blood tests, flea & parasite treatment, and age-appropriate vaccines. There is a $25 discount when you adopt two kittens together

If you are interested in meeting these kittens, please fill out an application for cat adoption at www.savingpetsoneatatime.org
