Eclipse's Story

Meet Eclipse (and her sister Moon)– Two Special Kittens Looking for Their Forever Home!

Eclipse and Moon are a bonded pair of sweet, playful kittens with a unique condition called sebaceous gland dysplasia. This rare skin condition gives them a one-of-a-kind appearance and means they need a little extra TLC to keep their eyes and skin healthy. But don’t let that fool you—they’re full of love, energy, and personality!

About Eclipse and Moon:
• Age: 8 months old
• Temperament: Eclipse is a bit more cautious - due to having to have her eyes cleaned more often. But she's so sweet and tolerates it really well!
• Favorite Activities: Chasing feather toys, snuggling on the couch, and watching birds from the window, and playing/fighting and cuddling with her sister.
• Special Needs: Her condition requires washing her eyes with a cotton pad and saline solution every other day or so. She also may need a moisturizing bath and a consistent routine for her eyes which they’re already used to. Moon, despite losing an eye (not related to this condition) is much less severe. They’ll also need a high-quality diet to support their overall health.

What They’re Looking For:

Eclipse and Moon would thrive in a home with someone who:
• Can provide the extra care their skin needs.
• Will adore their unique look and celebrate their quirky personalities.
• Can offer a quiet, stable environment where they can continue to flourish.

Why adopt these two girls?

These two will steal your heart with their affectionate natures and playful antics. They’ve been through a lot in their short lives but remain the sweetest companions you could ask for. Adopting them means gaining two loyal friends who’ll repay your love tenfold.

Are you ready to welcome Moon & Eclipse into your life?

Help us find these special siblings the happy ending they deserve!

All CCATS's adoptable cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites and have tested negative for FIV/FELV.

Ready to add some purr-fection to your life? Click on the “Start your Inquiry” button above to submit an Adoption Inquiry Form OR apply at https://ccatsrescue.org/ and click on "Adoption Application".

Eclipse can't wait to hear from you!

As each of the cats in our rescue are lovingly cared for in private foster homes, personal meet and greets are scheduled with a submitted application only, in an effort to be respectful of our foster families' time.

Many of our cats and kittens are also available to meet in person at our twice monthly (sometimes more often) adoption events.
