ECLIPSE's Story

This mellow sweetheart was rescued from the Hwy 162 trailer park at just 2 months of age. She came to us sick with chronic eye issues. But, after months of care, meds, and eye surgery...she's now healed and thriving!!
Her right eye still waters occasionally and may need future checkups. But it doesn't slow her down one bit.
Eclipse is laid-back, super affectionate, and loves snuggling right under your chin. She's not a needy cat - just a chill girl who loves jaw and chin scratches and prefers lounging over playing.
If you're looking for a calm cuddle buddy with a heart of gold, Eclipse is your girl.
Message us to meet her!!

Erath County Humane Society's Adoption Policy
When someone comes in wanting to adopt, we first ask what they are looking for in a new pet. If they can describe what they are looking for, we will make some suggestions based on that criteria, and then let them go through the shelter looking at the adoptable animals. There are kennel cards on each kennel with information specific to that animal. Once they find an animal they are interested in we do a meet and greet with the person interested in adopting. If they have other pets, we recommend a meet and greet with current pets as well. Whatever animal the potential adopter chooses, we highly suggest a 5 day foster period to make sure the animal and the adopter are a good fit.
