Eclair (Puff Pastry):'s Story

Eclair (Puff Pastry): Born ~2024, F, Seal Lynx Bicolor Ragdoll
Bonded pair. Must be adopted together.
Fee $1100 Total Adoption fee for both cats

Fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz, Ca.
Contact Harriet at email: harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com if you have additional questions. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please fill out an Adoption Application, which can be found at https://purebredsplus.org/Our Cats .

A Ragdoll Cattery closed recently. The owner found it was much more work than she expected and she quickly decided not to continue. Purebreds Plus took in a group of her beautiful Ragdolls all of whom are young and most of whom, like Puff, have microchips that show they were purchased from abroad.

Little Puff Pastry is the smallest of these Ragdolls. When she arrived, she weighed just 5pounds. (now she is 6). She may just be a baby but she is certainly full of personality. Her best friend Eclair is the second youngest of this group, she arrived at 6.7 pounds (now 7.7). A good guess is Puff is about 8-9 months and Eclair a bit older at 9- 12 months. Like Maine Coons, Ragdolls keep growing and maturing until they are about 3.5 years old.

Ragdoll kittens are all a solid cream color when born; as they grow their colors develop and darken. Puff is a Seal Bicolor Ragdoll. The soft light colors on her face will evolve overtime to match the rich sable color of her ears.

Eclair has the inverted "V" above her nose like Puff's, so she is also a Bicolor, but she is a Seal Lynx Bicolor. The "Lynx" tells you she has a tabby "M" on her forehead. Puff has pure white feet and body with the seal coloring showing up only in her tail. Eclair also has white feet but the light brown on her back shows it will later darken. I love their pink little noses and icy blue eyes.

These two are very compatible play buddies and bonded together. Puff is very outgoing, active, friendly, full of plans and full of fun. She asks for attention. She is definitely willful enough to wiggle when she wants to be put down.

Eclair is a bit like her slightly older sister. She is a very sweet, elegant girl, a bit quieter, dreamier. She will come over to say "Hey what about me?" when it seems like Puff is getting it all. She is a darling.

Like almost all Ragdolls these two need a peaceful, quiet home. No Noisy dogs or noisy toddlers. They would be fine with older respectful children and maybe sleepy older dogs. They need a family who has time to spend with them. Are you home much of the time? Do you long for the companionship of these sensitive kitties who can feel your emotions? Can you offer them the safe, secure, loving home that pampers their sensitive natures?

I expect there will be many people inquiring about these two special kitties. Please be patient if I cannot keep up with my responses.

Some family will be so lucky to have their loving companionship.

Eclair is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Purebreds Plus cat Rescue (purebredsplus.org), serving Northern California, the San Francisco Bay Area, Oregon, and Northern Nevada, is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of purebred cats, kittens and other exceptional felines. We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit rescue group. Most of our beautiful felines come from Northern California Animal Shelters. One of our goals is to keep purebred cats from ever ending up in a shelter. We are happy to help you if you need to rehome your purebred cat. Often, we can offer advice if your cat is having behavioral problems, and you may end up keeping the cat. We do NOT ship cats. We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.
