Earl Grey's Story

**Earl Grey is ready to trade the streets for a cozy seat!**

After **9 years of life as an outdoor Tom Cat**, our handsome Mr. Earl Grey is ready to hang up his roaming boots and settle into retirement... and honestly, we think he's earned it!

Meet Earl Grey, a charming gentleman who's discovered that indoor living has some pretty amazing perks. Soft beds? Wonderful. Sunbeams? Even better. Cuddles and chin scratches? **YES, PLEASE!**

Despite spending his entire life outdoors, Earl Grey is already **100% litter trained and doesn't spray!** This distinguished gentleman seems to understand that retirement is all about the finer things in life.

Now, you might notice Earl Grey has some impressive Tom Cat cheeks. That's thanks to being neutered later in life, and if you ask us, those big ol' cheeks just add to his irresistible charm. He's got the face of a cat who's seen some things, and the heart of a sweetheart who just wants to be loved.

Earl Grey is hoping to find a peaceful home where he can spend his golden years basking in sunny windows, snoozing in an assortment of comfortable spots, and collecting all the chin scratches his heart desires.

As for other cats, we're still figuring that out! He's been pretty indifferent to the feline residents here at the shelter, mostly minding his own business. We can't say for certain how he'd feel about sharing his home, so a slow, thoughtful introduction would be important.

After 9 years of looking after himself, Earl Grey deserves to have someone looking after him for a change.

**His retirement wishlist:**
Comfy beds and cozy nap spots
Sunny windows for afternoon snoozes
Unlimited cuddles and chin scratches
A loving home where he can finally relax

Could you be the one to show this sweet former street gentleman that the best part of life might just be the part spent indoors?

Interested in adopting Earl Grey?
