Meet Dusty Rose, whose pretty little Dilute Tortisehell self was abandoned at a mobile home park. Lucky for her she was found to be friendly so was trapped and has made her way to Second Chance. <br/><br/>"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet" is a famous line from William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, spoken by Juliet to argue that the names of things do not define their true essence or value. Dusty Rose is sweet, friendly, and likes slow gentle pets. Once you begin to engage with her she leaves her cubby and wants more pets. She is also interested in your lap. She presents as a little tentative right now but that is improving every day. Once she is in a home with a routine she will blossom.<br/><br/>Dusty Rose would do best with a single adopter, a couple, or a family with older respectful children. She would benefit from a quieter, routine home. So far, she seems to be okay with other friendly, non-aggressive kitties.<br/><br/>Dusty Rose has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
